#MeToo Movement 5 Years Later. Did It Fail?

Although the phrase “MeToo” was created in 2006 by activist Tarana Burke, it didn’t become apart of America’s vocabulary until 2017 when actress Alyssa Milano encouraged those who have experienced sexual harassment or assault at work to post their stories on social media using #MeToo.

So now post 5 years since we have this term in use, it brought certain consequences into a lot of people’s lives.
